De Sousa Hughes / Holland & Sherry Custom Shirting Event

I visited San Francisco showroom De Sousa Hughes yesterday and saw the special two-day promotion with Holland & Sherry to offer a new kind of custom luxury - shirts!

The shirting event was a neat concept to me for two reasons. I have always been a little jealous of the men’s suit purchasing process, complete with custom tailoring, fabric selection, and personal service, all of which resembles my interior design profession far more than the standard women’s process (searching through hundreds of racks readywear by yourself). Secondly, so often when I find fabrics I really love I wish I knew how to turn them into clothes as easily as I know how to turn them into pillows. So, this event was the perfect combo to me.
