Decorati Holiday Shop Inspiration

Just in time for the holidays, we are very excited to share a new section on Decorati with you. 

Our Holiday Shop features exclusive, custom accessories from some of Decorati’s top manufacturers.  What sets these items apart is that they are unique creations inspired by the manufacturer’s product line.  Lulan Artisans, Carolyn Ray, Dawn Nakamura, and Moth Design have all come up with beautiful, one-of-a-kind holiday accessories that are only available for purchase through Decorati.  Hurry - act now, as these items are custom made and orders must be received by mid-December to be in time for the Holidays!

Over the course of the next week, we will showcase each manufacturer separately to provide you with the inside scoop on the inspiration behind the items for sale.  First up are custom stockings from Lulan Artisans.  Read more to learn about the stocking fabrics. 

Made from the same fabulous fabric that designers use for custom projects, these stockings are an elegant alternative to the standard reindeer and santa-adorned stockings.  The Stepping Stones silk fabric that makes up the body of the stocking is a plaid ikat with a raised beaded stripe against a background of playful stripes. 

Ikat has been everywhere this season, from fashion to shelter magazines.  Its vibrant pattern can warm up a more minimal, modern setting, just in time for the guests to arrive. 

While the standard colors are Mint and Bordeaux (shown below), Lulan can make you a special custom stocking in any fabric from their line (except the Sheers).
