Check out the above stunning rug Kyle Bunting made for me for a client a few years ago. The piece took center stage in the apartment and was featured in Interior Design magazine. As soon as I began working on the rug with Kyle, I knew I was in good hands. Not only was he extremely responsive (and spoke with a soothing slight Texan drawl), but he sent me computer images of what the rug would look like before construction, and I was able to make edits, and he made the rug quickly, and there were seemingly no length limitations. Furthermore, the rug was so thin I didn’t have to worry about doors fitting over it. Overall – it was one of the highlights of this project.
I had the chance to catch up with Kyle at Design San Francisco week recently (see pic above). I enjoy chatting with Kyle because he is a savvy businessman and he recognizes the growth of the web as a force in the interior design industry. He has lots of ideas and feedback for Decorati, and I enjoy hearing all of it. Any company that incorporates technology to improve customer service, and thereby makes me a better designer, has my attention.

A rug that thin belongs on a wall. My home is full of handmade rugs representing several centuries and aside from being exquisitely beautiful, they are durable, which is an essential element of a quality rug. I have cut many a door to accommodate these works of art.
Fantastic ! Its such a beautiful rug.
