As Seen in House Beautiful- Objet Insolite

Take a look at this sleek Grand Diego floor lamp designed by Decorati Partner Objet Insolite, as seen in this month’s House Beautiful. From afar, it seems as though the slender shape of the lamp lends itself to a more modern style. However up-close, you can see the natural variation in the piece’s elegantly hand-crafted base that also blends well with a traditional aesthetic, as pictured above in this study designed by Timothy Whealon. The versatility of this lamp is further apparent in its finish- a bronze patine. This patine seamlessly unifies the various other finishes in the room, from the light brass of the overhead reading light fixture and drapery hardware, to the dark, deep finish of the reading table.
