Boston Design Center Visit
Posted on Nov 25, 2009 by ShaneI had the pleasure of visiting the Boston Design Center yesterday. It’s always fun to talk with showrooms and designers around the country. Gary Fisher, Showroom Manager for Duralee, showed me what’s new in his showroom. Above - the new Sensuede line. The cheery colors stirred all kinds of design ideas to combat this gloomy economy!
Above, the new Sensuede fabric book.
Below is the new Duralee Clodagh line we featured last week and I previewed a few months ago in this video. In my view, the fabrics have a wonderful earthy, rugged quality, while being elegant. It was fun to see the fabrics hanging on the leaves - hopefully soon we’ll see some completed projects with the fabrics showing up in our designer portfolios.

Great article on girandoles-I always wondered if I was pronouncing it right...

You’re not kidding that Sensuede line really did stir up some great idea to shed off the gloominess of the winter blahs. Thanks and you will definately be one of the first blogs I return to if I need any new ideas.
