The Softer Side of Modern Baths

Designer: Shon Parker

Where else would the clean modern look work best but in the bathroom?  Our bathroom is a place of refreshing in the morning, where the rays of warm sunlight pour in and wake us up to a new day in modern life.  These spaces, while modern, are still somewhat subdued, often by the likes of tiny details such as round edges and colorful flora.

The sunlight streaming in paired with the citrus curtains brightens up this modern bathroom above by Shon Parker.  The citrus looks just the right color, energetic, yet still pleasant.  The orchid plant vivifies the space to make for a natural yet comfortable space.

Designer: Hermogeno Designs

Hermogeno Designs puts in an electric blue sink over a noisy and exciting mosaic floor in this bathroom, but also adds a pleasing touch of nature with a vase of contrasting orange flowers on top.  Take a look at the metallic upper half of the bathroom wall, which has subtle lines that soften and deepen the space unlike if there had been a white wall.

Designer: Jerry Jacobs

The frosted glass and clean, precise lines of the shower make a very modern look in this bathroom by designer Jerry Jacobs, while the rounded edges of the sinks as well as the graceful purple tulips softens the look.

Designer: Jill Soffer Design

Geometric grid walls and a metallic counter achieve a decidedly modern look in this bathroom by Jill Soffer Design, while dainty ornaments dress one clear shelf and a fine vase displays orchids bowing to the side on another.
